The Einhell PXC+ 4.0 Ah TABLESS SEALED battery is part of the infinitely combinable Power X-Change platform from Einhell. All devices on the platform are powered by the versatile PXC batteries, which provide both power and endurance. The innovative Tabless technology uses 21700-type PLUS cells, while making conventional cell terminals (tabs) redundant, thereby enabling more even distribution rather than concentrating the current flow to a few contact points. Without these tabs, the current can flow directly to the terminal utilising the entire surface and simultaneously via multiple contacts. This reduces internal resistance, allowing energy to be transferred without power loss while reducing generated heat. Imagine it like a multi-lane motorway: Traffic flows more smoothly here, and the risk of congestion is minimised. Tabless offers maximum power delivery even under heavy loads and significantly extends the service life of the cells. Thanks to its high-performance cells, the battery can deliver a temporary peak output of 2,000 W – which is particularly useful during the start-up phase of a device – and provides a constant power output of 1,260 W. This high-quality battery is resistant to the memory effect and self-discharge. In addition, the TABLESS SEALED battery is splash- and dust-proof in accordance with protection class IP57. An additional contact with built-in short-circuit protection uses sensors to detect contact with water and immediately shuts down the electronics, meaning the battery is ready for use again once it has dried out completely. The 18-V PXC+ 4,0 Ah TABLESS SEALED battery is also suitable for use in a twin-pack in 36 V applications. The process-controlled ABS battery management system uses a microprocessor to continuously monitor all parameters, thereby ensuring the highest level of safety, optimum performance and maximum running time and service life. The charging status can be checked at any time via a 3-stage LED display. Whilst the robust housing is resistant to corrosion and mechanical stress, the rubber coating provides excellent impact protection and a secure grip. Thanks to the recessed grip, the battery can be easily removed from all devices. Supplied without charger, which can be purchased separately.
